1. I wish I’d had the courage to live a life true to myself, not the life others expected of me.

Ware said that this was the most common regret of all. It’s easy to let our dreams slip by due to circumstances or decisions that we’ve made. These choices mark the divide between living a fulfilled life or one that is full of regrets.
It’s important that we aim to achieve at least some of our dreams along the way. We often put off trying for our dreams due to a myriad of reasons. Before we know it, we would have lost our health and therefore, our chance to attain them.
If your dream is to start a business, get to it. If it’s to learn how to dance or try skydiving, book a class. If you want to make music, pick up a guitar.
Don’t put it off any longer.

2. I wish I didn’t work so hard.

In between having ends meet and aiming for a luxurious lifestyle, it’s easy to see why we get caught up with our work.
Ware said that this was a common regret of male patients who didn’t manage to spend enough time with their family.
It’s easy to get caught up in the rat race, but remember to set aside some time for the important things in life. Most importantly, you will have to understand why you do what you do. Is it for your own personal achievement, for family, or for a higher calling?

3. I wish I’d had the courage to express my feelings.

Hands up anyone who has suppressed their feelings in order to avoid potential embarrassment or argument.
Avoiding arguments is good for a harmonious life, but the problem comes when we take it too far. When we blindly follow the opinions of someone more assertive just to avoid arguments, we’re shortchanging ourselves.
While it’s understandable that we use Twitter and blogging to rant about things we are unhappy with, do remember that talking about it face-to-face is always a more sincere option.
So if an issue is major enough, try approaching the person for an honest and frank chat. We’re not saying that the talk will be smooth sailing, but your relationships will emerge stronger and healthier.

4. I wish I had stayed in touch with my friends.

It’s easy to lose touch with good friends. A busy lifestyle can take away time from the ones you love. This is where technology comes in.
With services like Facebook, WhatsApp and Yahoo! Messenger, it’s easy to keep tabs on old friends. Talking to friends is so effortless today that we have no reason to let staying in touch with friends take a backseat.
At the end of the day though, nothing beats chatting over a cup of coffee. So always remember to occasionally take things offline and catch up with your friends the old fashioned way.

5. I wish that I had let myself be happier.

‘Many don't realize until the end that happiness is a choice’, said Ware in her blog post.
This is very true. Happiness is something that we choose for ourselves. Many get upset over the circumstances in their lives. What they do not realize is that they can choose to face difficulties with a smile.
Take a moment and enjoy life. If difficulties come your way, remember that pain is inevitable but wallowing in misery is always optional.
Choose to be happy.

there's so many things going through my mind. sometimes even though we know that some stuff will not work out but we just wanna go ahead and try it and give it our best shot. and when we try, we failed. should this really be the way? or should we just admit to fate that it should be this way and retreat all the way without even trying? there's this kinda mixed feeling inside. i wanna give it a try again but looking at all the factors, i know deep inside, it wont work. knowing it wont work but why am i still doing so many things? i dunno. i just know that i wanna do it so that you will be happier and i can hopefully bring away some sadness in your life. that's all i know. should i or should i not?

All the tough times are finally gone. We are entering into the last day of our Tiger Training. 1 and a half month of intensive training, we did it. I still remember during day 1, I asked myself 'how am I going to make it through the whole of this training?' and well, here I am completing the training! The best is that all the 20 of us made it through! Its been quite a fun and enriching training I would say. I have learnt a lot of stuff that normal people will not get a chance to do it! Some example would be like 'jumping' off an aircraft, don the smokehood, fire fighting, jumping slide raft, first aid and many many more! Hahahaaha. and of course the funny moment we had during the training where Nicholas will also be the one that always kena and Joe will also 'tekan' him! :D Though this is the ending of the training, but it also mean it is the beginning of our flight and what we had learnt in our training! However, all this will not be possible without the effort of the trainers!! Annie, Joe, Marine, Katherine, Shariffah, Ping Pingg, Manne, Ariff and Murali! THANK YOU FOR YOUR PATIENCE AND EFFORT!! :D Lastly, hope everything and everybody will have smooth sailing flight and get distinction for our MP! Batch 36th Tiger! All the way! :)

Tomorrow is gonna be the last day of SEP training! Time really FLY man. We have already gone through 80% of our training? Left with only First Aid and off we are to fly! Kinda miss training now. Looking back at all the funsssss we had. I will definitely miss it man. But still, I am gonna enjoy every moment of my internship till the end! :)

1 week and 4 days of intern had past. So far so good. Today was quite a hard day for me because it english announcement! First try, I speak like I am giving out instructions to fellow soldiers. Second try, I speak like a machine gun and commanding soldiers. Hahaha. Third try, I did better i guess, but stumbled on some words. Fourth try, again same mistake but did not as good as third time. like reading pleasure, I read pleasure reading. Quite fail ah, keep on trying until its kinda better. Overall, I got a B! :D Tomorrow will be chinese announcement! Good luck to me man! hahahaha. Below are some pictures that we took! Its a long long day today! Early morning woke up went off to Bishan to get my contact lens. Rush back to Seng Kang. Den wait for Zi Yang to come my house and went off to Cold Storage to get the ingredient for today's steamboat gathering! I almost cancelled it due to very little people coming, because the amount of work comparing to the people is really not balance you know? But in the end, decided to continue despite the poor attendance! ;) Since 5 said yes, den I should take the effort to prepare even though there's only 5 of us! However, the good news comes later! Gary and Johnathan is able to make it! So that increase the number coming! :D So I went to Compasspoint with Zi Yang first and Anthony came along. Bought a lot of good food for today's steamboat! There's salmon, chicken, pork, bacon, mushroom, vegetables, crabsticks, hotdogs, sausage, prawn, squid, meatballs, cheese fishcake, fishballs! So many things and all these just for $87 plus! Quite worth! Prepared the food with Zi Yang, while Mr. Anthony keep on drinking my drinks, using my com and doing nothing! HAHAHA! Just when we are almost done, Benjamin came and we started a mini feast first. Tried the bacon, waseh, awesome to the max man! Gary, Sini, Johnathan and Shandy came after that following Ong and Ken! So, in the end there's 10 of us eating! Zi Yang, Benjamin, Anthony, Johnathan, Shandy, Gary, Sini, Ken, Ong and ME! A great success gathering before every one of us gets busy with our life! :D After that walk to Compasspoint, bought cupwalker and walk walk at the pasar malam! The rest went to play Majiong at Ong's house while I slowly walk home enjoying the breeze! What a LIFE! :D Tomorrow is gonna be the last day to enjoy before I officially start my internship on Monday!

I once said that I want to have a simple life. But the things that I wanted to do in life, cannot be be achieved if I had a simple life. There is actually so many things that I wanna do ever since I become more 'mature'. You know, like beginning to think what I am going to do in future? Since I cannot get to sleep, I shall state what I want to do in my life!

To be in the Special Forces

Since young, I have always been very crazy about military stuffs thought I do not really know much details about it. Special forces would range from being a commando, naval diver or those unit specialize in handling special operation. The reason why I wanted to be in one is that they are trained to be fearless, trained to kill and trained to eliminate bad people in simpler term. Being trained in this way allows one to live in almost any condition and it is a skills that is incorporated into you. You will not forget about these skills unless you are dead. These are also the people that put their life on the line to safe the lives of others. But well, this thought was erased after much consideration and persuasion from my parents and grand parents.But still, if I were to be enlisted into commando during my National Service, I would take it!

To be a Parade Commander

I had had the chance to be the parade commander for my school's national day parade. It really feels so great to have all the school's attention on you. Watching National Day Parade every year makes me a bit tempted to be the one to be shouting out the command in front of so many eyes. Can you imagine the pride and glory that one will get from such prestige parade? Your family and loves one, your friends, your teachers and all those who know you, how would their reaction would be seeing you commanding the parade? Imagine your good friend telling their kids, 'that's papa friends!'. That would really be a dream come true if ever this day were to come. In order for me to have this dream come true, I would have to serve my life in the Armed Force, and see, that is another career that is military oriented.

To be an Air Force Pilot or Commercial Pilot

This came about when I joined the Singapore Youth Flying Club (SYFC). I flew the Piper Warrior II aircraft during my time in SYFC. This aircraft is the aircraft that brought me to the sky for the first time. It feels so great. Being in the air and leaving the land that you had walked on for the past 18 years, really feel so different. The feeling of flying just make me feel very carefree even thought flying is rather difficult. I would have to use my eyes to look out for aircraft and cockpit instrument, ears to listen for radio-telephony calls and instructor instruction, mouth to reply to RT calls, hands to control the control column, legs to control the yaw and mind to know what you are doing. It test on how far you can control what you have on your body to the extreme. With me joining my course, I even make me wanting to be a pilot after I graduate, either by signing on with RSAF or joining the commercial airline. I would love to fly the latest F15SG or Charlie 130 if I am inside RSAF and Boeing 747 if I am inside commercial airline.

To be a Public Speaker

During my school days, there are a lot of public speakers that came to our school and give talks about many topics. The talks ranges from confidence, love, teenager, drugs, making business and many many more. All these talks are indeed very beneficial and did help me in my life one way or another. The speakers are all very experienced and are earning big bucks for giving talks to student like us. So this kind of motivates me to be one to. Being able to talk confidently, sharing my experiences to people, motivating and helping them out in their life would really be a nice thing to do! There was this talk when I was in sec 5. This speaker took out $50 and said, whoever that want this $50, raise your hand, shout I want, come up, and it would be yours. So me seeing that it is a good deal with my friends supporting me to go up take, I raised my hand, shouted I want, gone up the stage and he really gave me the $50! At that moment, I really felt very happy that he really kept his promise and gave me the $50. The rest were applauding and whistling! It feels kinda great and that moment really gave a huge push to my confidence level. It is not about the $50, but it is about his way of action could bring so much difference in our life! and well, after the talk, within 10 mins, half of the $50 were gone to treating all my buddies! So, if I were to be really in the industry of public speaking, I would want to talk about the topic of Global Warming to everyone in this world.

To be a photographer

Taking photos has always been one of my favourite things that I love to do. Thought I did not mentioned or expressed any interest in photography in front of anyone. But this changed when I bought a DSLR recently. It is an entry level DSLR that cost $1.1k. Its not that bad but a good enough camera to start up with a noob like me! All my friends and family find it too abrupt that I am into photography suddenly. Its not because of the trend of owning an DSLR but because of the passion I would say. I am not a very good in photographing, I am still new to it and the pictures I took is really very normal. However, I have been trying my best to learn the art of photography so as to take down the good memories that we had and to capture the moment of life that cannot be reviewed once we passed it. I want to take photos that depict the meaning of life, compromising of happiness, anger and sadness. I want to take photos that express my feelings.

To get into Politics

Saying that I want to be in politics would definitely make someone burst into laughter. The reason I wanted to be inside politics is to make a change. I wanted to join politics because of the environment. I could stand the way people are wasting our precious resources in something that is of not much uses. Once example would be the lightings in Orchard Road, the so cold air-con in shopping malls. All these energy could have been saved and put into better used right? I really hope that all these great malls would really take action in reducing their carbon footprints. I know there are some people who are really trying their best in doing their part, but i guess they would need to have a platform in order for them to spread the awareness. I hope that I can be the one that really take the lead in saving our mother Earth. I guess it is kinda stupid right? Maybe in politics there isn't any space for me to mention about environment?

To be a Back-Packer

I am a person that has to move around constantly. I cannot be confined in a space for long as I would most probably go crazy! I also love traveling around the world although the places that I went to till now is only Malaysia and Philippines. I am not very rich and thus, I could not really afford to run around to the countries over the world like some people would. Therefore, back-packing would really be a very good choice for me to have my wish come true! setting off from Singapore to Malaysia to Vietnam to Thailand to Hong Kong to China to India to Europe! That would really be nice if I am able to do so! Hopefully Visa or MasterCard saw this blogpost and they will hire me to do the visa dance all around the world! HAHA!

Yeah, so after so much of writing what I want to do in future, I am kinda tired! Its time to get some rest I guess! I think there are actually more thing that I wanna do or be in future, hope I am able to make the right choice and make the fullest out of my life!

Today had steamboat at Daryl's house in celebration of the coming Chinese New Year and completion of PM project! :D

Reach his house around 5pm plus and headed down to PP to get the food for the steamboat!

Spent a total of $117 plus and what we bought were all meat except one ball of lettuce which we never touch at all! HAHAHA!

A total of 11 people were present for the steamboat! big success!

Today first day of school! Went out around 11am and took bus 27. Was listening to my songs and something happened! My ear piece got hooked onto a woman short button! at the butt there somemore. Sian. Den i was like wanna take, dun wanna take. Den aiya..tap her ask her help me la. Later shout molest I die man. So after she took out, give me the tsk sound. Kaos. Nevermind. Peace. Went to school, during org com, I got my letter back! wahahahaha. For once, highest in class! hahahaha! Like so rare man. Well, maybe its just pure luck la. Following that was airport system lecture den project management. As usual, project management is as boring. So slack thru the whole lecture. Before that went to the washroom and heard this few guys talking. One of them said. you stupid or what. 'zhu dou mei you ni zhe yang da zhi' means pig also cannot grow until so big size. hahaha! Means saying that guy is a pig! hahaha! seriously, I was like controlling my laughter. Den faster go out when I'm done. Oh! after school, took 15! The bus today got an additional staff! super friendly! like like like! make my day yo! and I'm off to home!

Today went for a photographing session!

Reach esplanade like around 8.15pm and headed straight down to The place where I can take nice picture! hahaha!

The moment I reach there, I saw a lot of PRO man.

Finally term test ended today! and it ended off quite well done. like the beef steak eh. haha! after much discussion, decided to go Tampines 1 for BBQ Chicken, but the price of student meal increased to $9.90 without GST. So, we thought its so expensive, we turned to its neighbour, Carl's Junior. but its no where better? I spent like $16.50 over there? in the end, more ex! haha. and well, once a while, so still alright. hahaha. can take this as a form of compensation and reward for my hard work put in for the past few days! went home after that and slacked throughout at home. sleep till 8.30pm watch TV and went nearby for dinner. Awesome man.

today went for a first aid course on CPR. it was at jurong east IMM there. very very the far man..but in the end we manage to get there on time la..around 9.05am..so went there to learn CPR, chocking and CPR + AED. was quite fun la..and its really useful to me cause i always wanted to learn so that in an event of emergency, at least i know how to react bah..hahaha..was very interesting la..the instructor all very funny and friendly..and i really learned alot in that course! there's infant chocking conscious or unconscious..adult chocking conscious or unconscious..and if unconscious, perform CPR. and also perform a CPR with an AED. automated external de?????? something la..hahaha! so all in all..its a good course! its free and we get a cert and we get to save life! why not?! =D

Today went to barrage with 5 guys! haha! At the same time celebrate junting's 18th birthday! hahaha! 5 guys at barrage flying kite! hahaha! The 5 gentlemen are Randy, Samson, Leonard, Jun Ting and me! We did had a great time I would say. Although we do not have any girls with us and I think we are the only group that does not have a girl with us. haha! Sad life. So, We went there and fly the big big kite and the failed whale kite! haha! But that whale kite did grabbed some attention from the crowd and I saw one or two even videoed down with their phone! haha! Who knows we will be on YouTube in few days! LOL! I hope Samson will upload the picture up soon so I can upload it over here! =D

cool yeah! today i collected my X Mini 2 IMBA SPEAKER! whooooooos! so excited man! muahahaha! i bought it on eBay for $33 only! retail they selling at $50 - $55! hahaha! somemore its genuine and brand new! muahahahahaha! gonna love it so so so so much! and today my blue mini hamburger speaker had arrived! so happy la! so many 'gift' coming in! heheh..although all is a buy one la..but the feeling of having it and receiving it..waseh..super shiok..haha!

hello! today went to bedok swimming complex to work as a bounce operator..haha..chem leh..actually is just go there stay inside water..den guide those children through the floating bounce and make sure that they do not drown..lol..reached there around 8.30am..den prepare and get into the water at 9am..and once in..is all the way to 1pm man..hahaha..lucky i got bring my long sleeve swimming top..if not i sure become lobster man..haha..so..today i just make sure that they are safe using the bounce and splash water at them..hohoho..and i happen to be guiding this guy..he was really slow..so i pay more attention to him la..den when he was about to fall right..i was there to support him..but in the end he still drop la..and know what? he panic! maybe coz he does not know how to swim..and he struggled and my specs drop and fall on his body..he snatch from me..omg..hahaha.den i told him..dun worry..dun worry..you're safe..and he calm down a bit and i bring him up la..haha..scare me..lucky i saw him..if not maybe something might had happened man..phew..and so..after that wash up and went back home..having headache man..maybe in water too long and under hot sun man..meet up with anthony for lunch..and home! below is the bounce! whooo!

hello...today just had sortie 9..its normal circuit..before i go right..i got a very weird feeling..like not in the mood and feeling to fly today..just unlike those normal flight where its very easy and relax..and i'm right la..when up in the air..i'm like quite blurr..multi tasking make it even worst man..maybe because today is my first anding and taking off sortie..that's why the mood is different..in the air got scolded for sometimes..

upwind was alright.

turn to crosswind was alright.

downwind was average, need to hold my altitude better.

base leg was the alright too, got to aim and turn.

final is the worst man. and i did not really land toady, just follow through..so hope i am able to land properly in the next sortie.

and after 6 rounds of circuit come back..and debrief la..but overall still got a 5 for this sortie..hope sortie 10 will be better..=]

the sunrise of april fool day! =]

we lucky that there's not much cloud blocking it..=]saw the aircraft? that's my future...anw..saw the cloud on the right? it looks kinda like astro boy ar..or a jesus cross la..haha. but i think more like an astro boy..coz the top got a pointed shape ar..if you see the pictures above..you can see the forming of the cloud..yesterday went for night fishing at bedok jetty..its somewhere near east coast park..the longest extended jetty in singapore man!! so meet up with leionn at 3pm at giant to buy stuffs like BBQ pit, tent, food..and after that head to bedok to buy food..den head to leionn's house to prepare all the stuff and after that..had dinner at his house man..yupp..and after that waited for the rain to stop and his father drove us there..so..reached there around 8.30pm..there's alot of ppl la..and so..prepare a little more and started fishing la..after that afiq came and leionn's friend david came..hahaha..at first got no catch la..den we were bbqing and eating..there's hotdogs, crabmeat, corn, potatoes and also kaya toast! wa..kaya toast is the best la!! ahahaha..den when its around 1am right..the tides start flooding in and we begin to catch those small small fish..hahaha! so..leionn is in charge of killing it and BBQ ing it.and so....keep fishing and keep watching the planes coming into changi airport..den till around 4am..i tired already..so went into the tent and rest..as i rest..i stare at the sky..there's many stars last night too..and soon..i fall asleep..around 6.30am..i woke up and we started packing and manage to leave before the scotching sun burn us..and we manage to watch some sunrise today! =] and after that, rush home changed and went down to tp for the ams camp dry run..that's all folk!

hey guys! i'm back from sortie 6..was kinda hard for me..althought i got a 5 for this sortie again..i think i'm not up to that standard yet..i got to work more harder in order to catch up with the standard man..and today is all about turning..climbing..descending..straight and level..radio calling..omg..that's multi-tasking to the max..you got to look at your surrounding, attitude, A.O.B, balance, heading, airspeed..anw for today's turning..it was okok la..just that i need to maintain my angle of bank and the attitude..for straight and level..it was good? i can maintain S&L and correct it when its out la..den for climbing and descending..must be more steady with the procedures la..and other than that..i got to start preparing for the stalling and circuit for phase 2 if i get in..

Aircraft Carrier Landing Fake Out @ Yahoo! Video

woah...saw this video on yahoo..quite amazing..abort landing at the very last minute..my own opinion la..the pilot might be faced with a sudden gust or strong head wind that it causes the aircraft angle of attack to increase rapidly la..coz you can see when it was about to land right..the aircraft was quite okay and stable..but when it just crossed into the runway, it suddenly pitches up very fast..so...that might be the cause? anyway..that's just my opinion..hahaha..or maybe he is doing some practice on emergency abort landing? i got on idea..all this have to be answered by the pilot itself! =]

anw, today sortie was cancelled due to weather..went up for like 20min den come down..haha..was kinda shiok la..coz i fly a bit more than previous..and i follow through the take off! hehehe! that's all! tmr LAST ground school! YES! and at 4.40pm, i got another flight. hope i can complete it man..

this year earth hour is out! its on the 27th of march 2010!
so do please switch off your house lights for an hour from 8.30pm to 9.30pm.

hello! completed sortie 2 finally..now waiting for sim 3.

and by sortie 3, i will have to know all the checks..

anw..sortie 2 was kinda okay...got a 5/7 again...

hope i can maintain man..

after that rush home change, lunch den went straight to school for airport lecture.

after lecture, went to take my quiz and went off for a swim with samson..

hahaha..and after that went home..

exams is coming real near..

but chinese new year is nearer!

haha. got to start studying before i start saying no time..
